Hello World 4-19-13

For some years now, I have been sending what I call "A Slice of Life" to various email buddies.  I have one persistent Canadian friend (eh?) who keeps saying, "You should make a blog."  I say why? Why would anybody who doesn't know me want to read my Slices of Life?

When I write, I hear my own voice and I assume my friends can hear it too.  If you don't know me, and you are reading this and other posts, don't say I didn't warn you.  You may end up very bored.

  1. Don't worry Tina I always enjoy reading about your day to day life. It seems a lot less boring than mine LOL. Even though I seem busy most of the time I don't seem to have anything exciting to say. Take Saturdays for instance. I'm usually up between 6.30am and 7am, shower, dress, have my breakfast, go to the shops to get whatever I need, then at 9.30 am my two neighbours and friends walk about two blocks to a place where we meet eight other retired women for coffee and cake or whatever they want depending on the weather. We're there till about 11 am and then we all go our separate ways. My two friends and I walk home again and that's about it for Saturday I'm either doing washing or ironing and then get stuck into my art work for awhile after lunch, then I'm on the computer unless there's a good movie on the idiot box and then it's dinner time and I eat that usually between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. And then after washing the dishes it's back to the idiot box to see what's on in the way of movies or maybe my favorite shows like the CSI shows or NYPD's or maybe Waking the Dead etc, etc. Sundays is do nothing at all day for me unless I've made arrangements to go out before hand.
Mondays I'm a volunteer putting together the Town's newspaper, Tuesdays is Craft Centre day, Wednesday mornings is exercises from 9.30 am till 11 am and then we go to the Resource Centre to watch a film. Thursdays I go to the next town to do my weekly shopping, Fridays is exercises again then back home to do whatever I have to do at home and Friday nights one of my neighbours and friend and myself go to the local workers club to put our lucky numbers on for their lotto and then we have about three drinks sometimes we have dinner there and then we come waltzing home. So as you can see very exciting life. I do have my own car and sometimes I think I should drive up to Perth more often to see my late husbands eldest sister or his daughter-in-law but if they are busy with whatever they are doing then it's a wasted three hour drive and back.
I've still got that Over 50s Group going and JB is still as cheeky as ever lol but I'm mostly on Facebook now.
Well it was nice catching up with you in your Blog. Catch you later in Cyber Space LOL
    Hugs,
    Lesley
